Hi there Pierre, how long have you worked with StreamServe/Exstream, and what do you specialise in?

I have worked with StreamServe/Exstream for 16 years now, all the way since version 2.3. Through the years, I have built up deep expertise and a lot of best-practice. As a result, I’m specialised in the structural approach for a robust and complex environment.

What are you working on right now?

I’m leading the CCM/Exstream team, I oversee the large implementations and have fun with the team’s hard-to-break issues. I also have a lot of contact with OpenText R&D and Support.

Can you share something that you and your team have achieved, something that you’re proud of?

We have developed an extensive best practice and methodology, which makes it easier for the customer and the developer to maintain implementations, decouple content/documents from distribution, and really use the full power of the Exstream platform. It makes me proud that dozens of customers have kept utilising this methodology for years and are still very happy with it.

What are the biggest challenges you see within our area?

The lack of improvements of the products. For example, it’s easy to make an HTML e-mail in Exstream CE, but in Streamserve/Exstream it is harder to create it.

Looking at customer communication going forward, what do you think are the most exciting things up ahead?

The integration with customer journeys, with new channels like Whatsapp/Facebook messaging, and how we will be integrating this in the product.
